Care for the whole person

Insight, support, and practical tools to help you heal, grow, and move forward.

Your story is more than a list of symptoms. At Hope Healing & Wellness, we take time to listen, understand your experiences, and develop care around your unique needs, strengths, and goals.

Our approach combines compassionate, evidence-informed therapy with a deeper understanding of the connection between the brain, body, emotions, and behavior. When appropriate, traditional therapy may be complemented by QEEG brain mapping and neurofeedback to provide additional information that can help guide individualized treatment.

You are more than your symptoms. Your healing should be just as individual as you are.

Understanding QEEG

A clearer look at patterns in brain activity.

QEEG records brainwave activity and organizes it into maps and measurements. It can help a clinician examine activity within different frequency bands, patterns across the scalp, and how regions may coordinate.

QEEG does not read thoughts and is not a stand-alone diagnosis.

Questions are welcome

Frequently asked questions

Clear information helps you make a comfortable, informed decision about your care.

What is QEEG brain mapping?+

Quantitative EEG, often called QEEG or brain mapping, records electrical activity from sensors placed on the scalp. Software organizes the recording into visual maps and measurements that a qualified clinician can review alongside your history, symptoms, and goals.

Does QEEG hurt or send electricity into the brain?+

No. The sensors only listen to and record activity. QEEG is noninvasive and does not use needles, radiation, or electrical stimulation.

Can a QEEG diagnose me?+

A QEEG is one source of clinical information and should not be used alone to diagnose a mental health or neurological condition. Your full clinical picture matters.

What happens during neurofeedback?+

Sensors monitor brain activity while you watch or listen to feedback. The feedback changes in real time, helping the brain practice more flexible patterns. Your plan is individualized and reviewed over time.

How do I know where to begin?+

Begin with a conversation about your concerns and goals. Lisa can explain which services may fit your needs and what the next step would look like.
